I am a 40 year old woman and have -like most people - struggled with my weight since I've been a teenager. I stopped smoking 5 years ago and gained 20 kg. I lost a lot of weight last year but gained all of it back within 2 months. Started Banting middle September 2014 when my weight reached a staggering 98 kg. On my 40th birthday, Saturday 15 November, I weighed in at 88.5kg. Very very proud of myself and want to lose another 20kg to reach my goal weight. I am in no hurry and taking it a day at a time to get there while still cheating here and there because this is not a diet anymore but the way I am living and eating forever. Absolutely loving Banting and all it's benefits.
