Hey I'm Kevin, 26 and live in Phoenix, AZ.
I've always been a little heavier, but a few years ago I hit my peak. I was up to over 250lbs and I basically felt like crap. I had constant acid reflux, no energy, and just generally wasn't happy with myself. My mom at the time was going to a personal trainer at a small gym so I decided to give it a try. I started a new diet that resembles a mesh between Atkins and Southbeach, started eating cleaner, and not stuffing myself to the brink, started lifting weights and doing cardio when I could. After a few years of being on and off of a strict diet, I was able at one point to get down to about 185lbs, which is about 65lbs lost.
I have put back on some weight, but I am generally much much more healthy these days and have a physique that I am happy with. Right now my goal is to get back on the diet and loose enough body weight to get to Single digit body fat percentages. If I ever get to the point where I can see ab definition, that would be incredible. never thought I would even be setting these types of goals when I first started, but now I feel like I can.
