I had lost 50lbs 12 years ago and it was creaping back on. I was struggling with sugar/carb addition and couldn't lose weight for the life of me. I had no energy or drive. I started Take Shape for Life (medifast) in March 2014. I had a BMI of 27 and a goal to lose 25lbs. In 4 months I surpassed my goal by losing 30lbs and reduced my BMI to 21.5. I look great, am full of energy, no longer take Cholestrol meds. and am eating lots of healthy low carb foods 5-6 times a day. I now have to re-incorporate exercise for ultimate health, and match that with increasing my calorie intake for maintenence. I joined this site to help count calories and establish portion control to maintain my weight loss and continue down the path to ultimate health.
