October 1, 2010 was the start of my getting healthy journey. My cholesterol was 223 and I weighed 45 pounds more than I ever had before. Terrible! Time to make a change for life. I have lost over 60 pounds and "need" to exercise at least three times a week. All changes I've made I can keep for life. My husband has lost 50 pounds and we are really enjoying our journey together. Anyone can make the change to live a long and healthy life. One small difference at a time....Cheers!

Update 10/21/11: I got my annual blood work results. (The ones that sparked this journey last year) My initial goal was to bring cholestrol under 200 and weight under 200 in one year. My colestrol is down to 173 and I beat my weight loss goal by 20 pounds! This achievement was strictly by my lifestyle changes that I can keep forever. I'm so excited and proud of the results.

Update 1/3/13: I have continued to exercise at least three times a week for over two years. I love how I feel and have gone from walking to biking to running and joined a gym. Unfortunately, I let 10 pounds creep up on me. With a new year, I am going to track my food for the next 30 days and hope to get this train turned around. Welcome to everyone that found this site. It will help you change your life!
