Been off my game for a few days and it shows on the scale today. Workouts have been cancelled due to poor air quality in our area and I just can't get my happy a** motivated into the gym. Not making excuses, just sayin' it was a relaxing weekend in every sense--resting, no workouts, eating randomly and eating out. Today is nose to the grindstone day--only 20 days left before final weigh in on my 90-day workout challenge. I wonder how much I can lose in 20 days? Let's find out. . .

I feel stuck again. Another 10 pounds down and another wavering of my activity and eating habits. The good news is I think once I make goal, I will be able to sufficiently maintain my weight with the new habits I have developed. I need another jump start! I am looking good and feeling accomplished in my 90-day workout challenge. . .I NEVER thought I could do the things that I am doing, at my age. I guess it is truly never to late to start. In a couple of weeks I will be doing a 4.15 mile, 17 obstacle, adventure race with some of the ladies from my workout group. I am excited and nervous. I am excited because it's going to be fun, I am nervous because there is running. . .I still hate running! I will let you all know how it goes.

Down 9 pounds since the 16th of July. I can pull off my "new" shorts without unbuttoning them. I love seeing and feeling the payoff of my hard work!

I am really doing well right now! I only gained .5 pounds over a 9-day vacation--in the past I would gain 2-4 pounds on vacation--and I have already conquered that plus more. I have lost 7 pounds in the past 4 weeks, and I have only missed 1 scheduled workout in my 90-day workout Challenge. I am getting stronger and working out harder than I ever thought possible. It is interesting how my competitive nature kicks in when working out with a group. Out loud I am encouraging others, but in my head I am telling myself "C'mon, you can't let that girl beat you! Go faster, work harder, don't quit first!" I feel really good!
