So I haven't lost any more weight, in fact i gained .2 of a pound. But I also started an intense walking program (pushing a double stroller with two toddlers for an hour, up and down hills). It seriously kicks your butt lol, my legs feel very sore and swollen. I've noticed that after intense workouts I tend to weigh a little more, which I attribute to muscle-water swell. So I'll keep at it, I get to start Phase 2 in a few days, much to my relief. I'm ready for fruit and brown rice again!

So this is my 4th day on South Beach Diet and I can finally say that the junk food cravings are FINALLY starting to ease, I'm so relieved! My husband has been ultra supportive and has been helping me by not having junk food in the house. The first 3 days were the absolute hardest, especially since there are still junky granola/crackers/cereal/ and all sorts of "bad" food still in the house, it's been a huge test of willpower not to pig out on it all, but I finally feel like I'm winning. I've realized that I've never been able to stay on one of my self imposed diets for longer than a week, so I'm determined to make this long term!

So phase one got off to a rocky start, my parents came to visit for my son's birthday and I made cheesecake lol. Yesterday I would consider my first full day of phase one, So wish me luck as I try to complete this first phase without totally falling off track. Glad to see that I at least lost 3 pounds instead of gaining a ton due to pigging out a couple weeks ago. Looks like I made up for it elsewhere.
