Got back on track. 1200 calorie allowance plus daily exercise. Trying to kick that junk food craving and so far succeeded for 4 days. Also started drinking water ice-cold and hot green tea for the extra caloric burn. So far so good and feeling encouraged!

So I'm trying a different approach to my morning meal. Now that I've started making myself eat breakfast every morning (no matter what), I've gotta rethink what I'm eating. I usually have my oatmeal, which is low fat and healthy, but I feel ravenous two hours later. I did a little research and found that it's due to the lack of protien in the morning. So, now I'll try a different approach and have a high protien breakfast with a piece of fruit for a small amount of carbs and to get some fiber in the morning. We'll see how that tides me over for the morning. I get up around 5 every morning and try to eat by six, so lets see how I feel come 10 o'clock.

So I decided to break down my total goal. While in the end I'd like to be 135, I realized that I do better when I work toward a deries of smaller goals. I stay much more positive and motivated.

So I had a naughty Memorial Day weekend. My son turned 2 and my husband and I celebrated in the worst way, with food *gasp!* Easy for him because he's in great shape, bad for me because, well, I'm not lol. Oh well, I'm going to work hard to repair any "damage" and I've decided not to weigh in for at least a week, maybe two, so I don't stress or kick myself over any weight gain. I'll work hard and eat right and then celebrate my weight lost in a couple weeks, and I won't do it with food! ;)

So I've really been putting in a huge effort to eat well. I caved this morning because my (slender) husband insisted on cookies so i told him "only if you keep them in your lunch box and take them to work with you." well he put as many as he could fit in the lunch box but left 7 on the counter, so yeah, I ate them. Not all at once but over the course of the day. Guilty me. But other than that I've been doing great, and even with the 7-cookie-splurge I've been keeping my calories where they should be!
