Just a short journal today. I had a really horrible day. Diet wise it was a great day though. I only had about 11 NC. For breakfast I had slices of ham and chicken breast with 1 oz. of cream cheese. I also drank an Atkins Milk Chocolate Shake. I ate a late lunch which included some chicken breast tenders, a serving of mediterranean salad, 4 grape tomatoes, 1/4 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 2 tbsp of creamy italian dressing. I drank water with lunch. For snack I had an Atkins Caramel Peanut Nougat Bar and for a dinner another Atkins shake. It was pretty good. I just realized that the diet calendar doesn't account for the sugar alcohol in the Atkins bar when it calculates net carbs so I just subtracted the net carbs in my signature. Either way I still stayed under 20 NC which is great and I am sure I will show a loss on the scale. I fit into the jeans from before my second daughter which is so awesome and I can feel my clothes starting to fit a little looser. It's such a wonderful feeling. Hopefully when I weigh in tomorrow I can announce that I have officially lost all of the weight gained from my second daughter. That's all for today.....till next time....

My internet was down yesterday so I didn't get a chance to journal. I'll just add my thoughts of yesterday to today's journal. Hope missing a day won't affect the journal challenge. Anyway, yesterday was a good day. I stuck to the program, only had about 10 NC. For breakfast I had 2 deviled eggs and 2 or 3 slices of chicken breast lunch meat. I drank about 2 cups of water and a serving of sugar free jello. I counted the jello as one carb since it has sucralose. I woke up really late that day because the husband apparently got up early and was taking care of the girls so he let me sleep in. Yea, I can't believe it either. I wonder when that will happen again. I'm just glad it happened once, shoot. So my breakfast was more of a brunch. For dinner, husband invited some friends over to watch the Giants game and wanted me to make chicken wings and empanadas. Wait, I just figured out why he got up early and took care of the girls. Ha! He's good. Anyway, I was upset I couldn't eat my empanadas but I did enjoy some Hot & Spicy Chicken wings along with a nice salad. I added grape tomatoes and 2 tbsp of Bleu Cheese dressing to the mix along with a ton of water. The wings were spicy. I had some sugar free chocolate for dessert. It was pretty good and only 1 NC. My diet calendar says 0 NC but I just added the carb to my signature. I've also been adding 1 NC to every Diet Green Tea and Sugar free Jello too because I want to be as accurate as I can be.....

Today was a good day. For breakfast I ate some ham and cream cheese roll ups. I also had a couple pork rinds for crunch and some Diet Green Tea. I had a little bit of Sugar free Jello too. I was happy with my meal. Sugar free Jello is sooooooo good! For lunch I had a can of tuna with 2 tbsp of mayo, a serving of mediterranean salad blend, 4 grape tomatoes and 2 cups of water. I couldn't even finish the meal, I was plenty with 3/4 of it and just let it be. It feels good to be able to say that's enough and move on. Before I would just finish my plate even if I was full just because it was there. For dinner I made the recipe I posted in the 20 NC Challenge. It was a decent meal and I was satisfied. I posted my review back on the forum. I had 1 and 1/2 chicken breasts along with a serving of french cut green beans and 2 cups of water. For dessert I tried one of those Atkins Caramel Fudge Brownie Bars. I know from the jump that it's not going to be the greatest but it was pretty decent considering and it satisfied the sweet tooth. Overall another good day, had about 12 NC this day and yesterday was about 10 or 11 NC....So far so good and hopefully we'll see a loss on the scales during Sunday's weigh in!

Today was another good day. I stayed well below 20 NC and I am feeling great. My total NC for today was 10.41g. It's so crazy because I am not hungry AT ALL. I've been doing Atkins for a few weeks now and am sooooooooo happy that my cravings are pretty much all gone! I'm going out to eat Friday night and so I am worried that I won't have much choices or there will be hidden carbs in things I order. It's a spanish restaurant in the city so I might have to do some research and get the menu ahead of time to figure exactly what I should order. That's not crazy is it? Anyway let me do my food journaling....

For breakfast I ate 2 scrambled eggs with my good old trusty vienna sausages and 1/4 cup of cheddar cheese. I added a tbsp of sour cream too and drank 8oz. of diet green tea along with 2 cups of water. I'm obsessed with diet green tea, by the way. The eggs were a little too salty, I always have that problem with adding just a pinch too much salt. I need to like add none at all and just add it on after it's cooked or something. I felt satisfied and content with my meal, almost ready for a change though. For lunch I ate a can of tuna with 2 tbsp of mayo and a serving of the mediterranean salad blend. It really was a puny salad but I was fine with it and my stomach was too. We're on the same page now...For dinner I ate a bunless cheeseburger with a small salad which included mediterranean blend and two slices of tomato. I topped it with a serving of ranch and dipped my burger in some mustard. That was a tasty meal. I was very happy with it and very satisfied. I drank 2 cups of water with breakfast lunch and dinner along with one cup of diet green tea or diet green mango tea. So far so good!

Looking at my calorie intake it seems ok, not too high and not too low. My fat intake is pretty high (luckily I'm not on a low fat diet). My protein intake is great and my net carb intake is super low. It's been 3 days and I haven't even broke 15g of NC yet. I'm so pumped about these challenges. I know when these challenges are over I am going to be looking better and feeling better and I'm so excited about that!
