Low Carb! Day 1!
Hi. I just started the low carb challenge from dietdoctor.com, too, on the 22nd, and I feel great. It's been really easy to follow the recipes and the food tastes great. I am also impressed with all the information and videos that they offer for only $9 a month. I even bought the Ketone Monitor he recommended and tonight, the 27th, I registered 1.8 which is in great nutritional ketosis. Let's keep this going. I can see this is the way I want to live for the rest of my life. And my clothes are already fitting a bit looser!

Low carb, low fat and low sodium
Check out dietdoctor.com. They advocate Low Carb High Fat and I feel great since I started their low carb challenge on the 22nd. He has a lot of free information and videos explaining the benefits of the LCHF program especially as it pertains to Type 2 diabetes and blood chemistries.

Will it be good if I added more fats without cutting protien???
I was reading in dietdoctor.com that advocates Low Carb High Fat, that too much protein can stall getting into ketosis because your body will turn excess protein into glucose. Check out the site...it's free for a lot of good information and only $9 a month to be a member.
