I am a 26 year old living in Queensland, Australia. I am a wife and a stay at home mother of 2 beautiful children. I was a 59 kilo, 19 year old when I met my husband, and the weight has slowly been put on over the years without me noticing. I thought my "rock bottom" was January 2013 when I had my gall bladder taken out due to suffering from gall stones from a highly fatty diet and having doctors tell me that if I don't change my ways I will have diabetes. I kept with my old habits and my realisation that I had let my eating rule my life was in August 2013 when I hit 98 kilos on the scales, it scared me to think that I was 100 kilos, 40 kilos overweight (the weight of my two children put together). I am very good at making excuses I guess that's why there has only been a loss of 8 kilos in 8 months, that's why I have had to seek out the help of an online calorie counting diary to keep me accountable for everything I put in my mouth...I am trying and still have a long way to go.

I have so much to be grateful for but not healthy enough to enjoy it, constantly struggling with headaches and lack of energy and motivation. I owe it to my children and to my husband to be better.
