In December I turned 56 and am returning to weightwatchers trying to get myself in control of my weight. I started back the week before Thanksgiving and have kept it up through the holidays. Where always before it has been out of a sense of vanity I wanted to lose weight, now that I am older it is for my health, though I would like to wear cute old ladies clothes. I know how to do it and I have done it before (100 lbs lost on weightwatchers in 2002-2003).
I am a social worker and responsible for my agency's budget so it is very hectic trying to raise the money to keep us going. I use food to cope with stress!
Since November of last year I am a grandmother and that has really made me take stock of where I am and where I want to be. My grandson is the light of my life. I want to be healthy and stay healthy for him.
I have gotten caught up in work so I don't have many hobbies. I want to get back the hobby of running. I was running 5 miles a day and entering races on the weekend. It was great. I am going to get back in shape and get back into the running circuit. I can always take Mason with me in his stroller!
