I have tried dieting before and succeeded but the weight always creeps back on. One of my major problems was lack of support at home. My husband has promised to be supportive, in fact he was the one this time to bring it up.
I teach Pre-Kindergarten and since the beginning of the school year, my back has gone out twice. We both believe that my weight has been a factor in my back problems this time (my back has gone out before and it seems that it goes out when I am over weight).
I started Weight Watchers the first week of November. I haven't been following the diet plan seriously. I am committing myself to getting serious now.
My mother passed on last summer and that was a wake up call. She always had a weight problem and I seem to be following in her footsteps. Some of her health issues have already shown up in my life, one being diabetes. It's time to get myself under control and hopefully this is where I can start.
