First 5K
On Saturday I ran my first 5K. I was so nervous, and my only goal was to not finish last. Im not a good runner and my goal was to run it in 45 minutes or less. Half way through the race my legs were cramping up so bad, I was tired and cold, and thought I was doing so bad. But when I crossed the finish line the clock read 37 minutes!
I was so happy!! It inspired and motivated me to keep running and working out daily. I defintely recommend signing up to run a 5K, even if you're not a runner!

Very Discouraged!
Yeah, I am new to this and still trying to figure it all out. My food and exercise logs are not complete but they're close. Unfortunately with my job I have to rely on meal bars and shakes some days when I dont have time to do otherwise. I do eat raw veggies almost daily and I rarely eat out. I'm going to try to track my food intake more closely on here. Thanks for the info!

Very Discouraged!
Thanks for the info! I know I shouldn't let the number on the scale discourage me, but it would be nice to actually SEE results. I'll just keep on going strong and see what happens.

Very Discouraged!
In November I started a weight loss challenge at my work. Today was the weigh in and I GAINED 3 pounds!! I am so frusterated because I have been eating right, counting calories,I drink about 96-120 ounces of water everyday, I run and walk on the treadmill, I go to a Zumba class twice a week, I do my own at home work outs (ie; abs, legs, arms)and I feel great! I feel like my clothes fit better and I feel healthier but im just not losing! Im actually gaining!
I had my thyroid checked and some blood work done, everything came back normal. I have a ways to go to reach my goal weight (At least 30 pounds)...What am I doing wrong?!
