I live just north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I work in professional services, and it makes it very hard to set a "normal" week's schedule because my client's deadlines need to be met so I have a difficult time finding time for exercise.
I've been overweight as long as I can remember (I think 3 years old was the last time I was "normal")... my goal is to be healthier, and where that leads me, I'll have to figure out.

I NEED HELP !! :(
So I do agree with jsfantome about making a lifestyle change not just a diet, but do wonder what exercise you're doing. If you keep your eating the same, and vary your types of exercise, and particularly focus on ones that will build muscle, you'll see improved results (whether the scale tells you or not) - i.e. your pants will be too big.

I Can't be the only one... can I?
My left foot does it when I'm on the elliptical only.

Very weird for me... I don't know what causes it, and when I looked on the internet it said scary things so I stopped looking.

I just break up my workouts on the elliptical into like 20 minute segments, but you're right, doesn't hurt but is just annoying. I figure any amount of numbness isn't good, and I should get the circulation flowing so nothing goes wrong.

Although, come to think of it, I do have a plantar's wart on my left foot and I've been slowly killing it with stuff I get from the drug store, although, I haven't seen much change, but maybe that's it.

Anything weird with your feet Pixi?

Differing Scales
I only weigh in once a week. It gives me time to see progress, but not so much time that I can gain any significant weight, if I get off track. I also agree with everyone above - it doesn't matter what scale you pick, just pick one and ignore the other one. You are looking to see your progress, the ultimate number on the scale doesn't really matter, the success is having lost a pound of fat!

145lb to lose Newbie...
It's never an easy change to make, but it's awesome that you've made it a permanent change in the way you live your life! That's the way to make it a long term success not just a "diet".

C25K question
Thanks Krystyne - I'm still a bit of a big girl to be running the standard C25K. I am hoping taking the slow route to it, I'll lose weight, but also work up to running for longer periods of time!
