Taking back my control. The last couple of years have been really hard, ate more moved less. I have never weighed this much in my entire life. Grew up skinny, never dreamed I would have a weight problem. For me it is all about attitude. When I am on track, I lose. When I make excuses, I gain it back. I refuse to settle. This is not me. 5 years in a row. I did a marathon on a marine base obstacle course. I love it. I will go again next year. But I will be in great shape too! I know my calories by heart for the foods I eat the most. Some things are very easy for to do, like drinking LOTS of water. I never use salt, or sugar on anything. I do believe we can eat anything in moderation once inawhile if a small serving. Portions are key. I am doing this for ME alone to prove to myself I can be fit again. I would welcome buddies who want to succeed too that would show up daily to be accountable. Doesn't matter where we start, as long as we finish.

I believe when someone reaches a big mile stone in weight loss. They deserve a round of applause. Since they can't hear us clap. I would like to see 100 posts letting them know we care, support and celebrate each other when we succeed. My friends name is airbugs. Today he has lost 100 pounds. He walked his butt off everyday. Hildy Pildy, Welcome! I like your title. Being Good. That is all we have to do. Be good to ourselves. Sounds simple right? We have been bad long enough. lol Stick to your plan and those pounds will continue to go bye bye.

woox2, Yes it will keep going as long as we keep making the effort. Success is waiting for us. No reason why we can't lose it. : )

I like Jillian's whey protein. I have it every morning. You can find it at Walmart. Tastes like a chocolate milkshake to me and keeps my full. : )

Journey to smaller pant size
MrsMb, Welcome to FS! This is a great place for support. I am a calorie counter, but CARBS were my main menu. You can plan for any food and still lose. No more diets. Just our own menu that suits us.

Have a goodie free day and make sure you show up here each day. Never settle, we are worth the effort. : )
