I am a Senior Financial Analyst therefore I sit at my desk for 8 hours a day behind a computer monitor so get very little exercise in my daily activity. I have been married for 19 years and have a 16 year old son and a 9 year old little boy who both adore me. I just wish I had more energy to keep up with them and all their activities and desires. I had gastric bypass surgery in 2007 when I was at my highest weight of 425 and managed to get down to 260 in about a year losing 165 pounds but have been stalled at that weight for over 2 years now. This weight loss happened with diet alone and no exercise. During the last 6 months, I have had severe anemia problems and extremely low B12 and Iron levels and have had to have iron injections and steroid shots to rectify this illness. Although this helped raise and stabilize these counts, I have gotten back into compulsive eating habits. Even though I cannot eat as much as I used to before my surgery, I can definitely eat all day long and all types of foods again including sugars and empty calories. I need to get control of my life and not let the surgery nor the money I paid for it nor the health benefits go to waste since I have already gained 20 pounds back and thought it would ever be possible for me to regain my weight. I have a new goal starting now at 280 pounnds to lose almost half my goal weight again - 120 pounds! I need to incorporate exercise into my regimen this time and make this more of a lifestyle change than a restrictive diet. I am starting this journey with a new goal of 30 minutes of any type of exercise as many days as possible or at least 3/4 days a week and try to limit my caloric intake to 1500 pounds 6 days a week with one day to not worry about healthy eating and have a choice day. I would love to have any online buddies who can be there for me as a support group when I fall and think this journey is not possible! Thanks for reading this and Have A Great Day!
