I am so glad that the scale finally budged. I started watching what I eat and riding my stationary bike for 30-60 minutes each day and did not see any results for an entire week then Bam - 7 pounds lost today! I am so glad I did not give up...lets see what this next week brings!

Okay I am back on track - summer is almost over so drive thru McDonald days are over since I no loger have to drive my son to camp everyday or worry about him being starving after camp and have to make a pit stop at Church's Fried Chicken. I am set with my calorie and carb counter, hbave my stationary bike and Leg Press ready to dust off the cobwebs and have all the vitamins and protein shakes I need to make healthy decisions. It is only two pounds but it is headed in the right direction. I am going to focus on getting back down to 260 by losing those first 20 pounds. THen I can start worrying about getting under 200 pounds by losing another 60 pounds. My goal for this is Spring Break next year but if it happens by New Years, I will be elated!

I have gained 15 pounds in the last 30 days and need to get back on track. I am up to 280 and am pretty sure it is a result of my sugar beverages since my ice cravings have diminished. I am no longer chomping on water frozen ice cubes and have substituted this bad habit for one of sweet tea, apple juices and the occasional Big Red! I have also started consuming an ungodly amount of cookies, starchy foods like mac and cheese, shells, rice, breads and Almond Joy Candy Bars! This is what my diet has consisted of this past month. I do not want to blame it on my steroid shot I received for my elbow nor my iron infusions that increased my iron and blood levels causing me to munch on something constantly. I am rarely hungry so this is just habit and comfort eating. I need to get this under control now and today before I gain all the weight I have lost so far. I need to start concentrating on going in the right direction for my children, my spouse and most importantly for myself!
