When I young the school nurse sent home a notice to my grandmother that said I was underweight/malnourished. Well, if that didn't send my grandmama into a frenzy. I was practically rushed to the doctor. The doctor said I was fine. He told her to give me a daily vitamin and let nature take it's course. Well, that was not going to fly for my grandmother. I was practically force fed at first, and tons of candy were now accessible to me - she was determine to fatten me up. And boy did she - wasn't too many years that the notes came home that I was overweight. She told me it was baby fat. She's gone now, but not the baby fat. I have done WW and successfully - twice - trouble is after a while the changes just don't stick. I have tried vegan, and other diets, but have never been successful, now I am 60 and have a hard time walking. I need to loose the weight for my knees, but it is still hard. I get a health call each week - we are trying little things now. This week a veggie at each meal - things that maybe I can incorporate and keep doing. Healthy changes. and hopefully I can loose baby fat.
