Hello! My name is Abigail and I am a military wife stationed in the middle of nowhere New Mexico. I was recently diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome and was told to stay far away from carbs after experiencing a massive weight gain of 120 pounds in less than two years. My husband and I decided to try out the Atkins diet as I know many people who were successful following this plan. We are currently planning our wedding for the summer of 2014 and I'd love to walk down the aisle in tip top shape! I am here to support others along their journey, swap stories and tips, and make new friends!

Snack Ideas
Thanks everyone for your great ideas!!! Since I've been tracking my meals, I realized I haven't been eating enough calories and think that having small meals throughout the day would help keep me going. Since I'm in induction, its hard to snack on the things that I usually ate like fruit and nuts so I was just looking for some fresh ideas, I'm not really creative when it comes to food! I screwed up !!
I messed up pretty bad over the weekend by not being prepared so I know how you feel! Just keep on track for the rest of the day and start fresh again tomorrow!

Not eating enough calories
I just hate feeling hungry later at night. I may increase my dinner portions a little to see if that holds me over.
