I am 41 (almost 42) years old, male, and father of two wonderful children (16 and 11). My weight gain started way back in University, and has continued since then (20 years now). My lifestyle and job is fairly sedentary, however, I do still play ice hockey. That has been my only exercise of late, however.

It's time to get serious about my health and lifestyle. I don't want to "build rome in a day", but I do want to slowly and successfully lose weight and inches, as well as develop a better and more healthy lifestyle.

Orange Again! (I think it's orange, but I am colourblind so ...)
PS: Orange slipped back to red today Smile ... and with Christmas looming, it will stay that way, I suspect. Not a big deal, though. I don't mind.

Yeah. DOWNward makes more sense, but upward refers to way one feels by making healthier choices (portion size, mainly, for me). Thanks for the reply

This is my second round. First round I managed to go from 230 to 200. I set a new goal of 185 and just hit the Orange bar. Feels like real progress.

With the holidays coming up, however, I assume I wil lbe back in the red again soon enough!

Onward and upward!

BLUE!!
I finally made it! 30lbs to the blue line. Thanks in no small way to my buddies and their constant support.

Now I need to work on the next goal ... I wonder if that will make me red again? I better stay here for a bit so I can relish in the blue line!
