I have struggled with weight all my life. I have a twin who was always so thin next to me. I was not huge but I was always compared to my twin sis. I always wanted to be as thin as she was. By my junior year in high school, I became tired of the comments about me being the fat twin so I decided to lose the weight one way or another. I began limiting my calories and I lived on breakfast bars and liquid drinks. I would not eat a real meal but once a week. I know this was not healthy but at the time I was just thrilled that I had lost 35 lbs and was down to 120lbs. I gradually added food and I was able to maintain my weight loss for about 5 years. Then I had a baby and at delivery I weighed 210 lbs. I was so disgusted with my weight. I went on diet after diet only to lose and then regain. I continue to fight the fat. My twin also gained weight after getting pregnant with her first baby. We joined LA Weight loss and I was able to lose 15 lbs. I have since then regained and now I'm almost back to the original 15 lb loss. I was always active and exercised in the past and I am now walking again .I am going to lose this weight. Obesity runs in my family and I know what the alternative is if I don't fight the fat. My twin and I are working together to slim down.
