Daily allowance?
Gobbieu: 1 cal is a unit of energy in physics (defined as the energy needed to increase the energy of 1 gram of water from 14.5°C to15.5°C. In diet terms, it is common to use Cals=1kcal (1000cal), to simplify things. I wouldn't say that fat secret is using kcal erroneously: it is using a correct unit of measure!!!!

RDI
totally agree with Draglist: Fatsecret definitely is generous with their RDI calorie intake (although it is actually better losing 0.5 kg a week for longer than, lets say, 1kg per week as it allows you to learn how to eat healthily in the long term which is what you want)

What would you tell your 16 year old self?
I would tell myself to keep thin (I had a BMI of 20 at 16) as it is hard work to lose weight!! I would tell myself to choose the degree I wanted to do to do at uni and not follow what my parents wanted me to do. Get a part time job and rent a flat with other students and study out of home (all these thing lead me, with genetic preposition, to quite heavy depression and two attempted suicides!!).

Wrist fitness trackers ?
I tried jawbone UP for about two months (my medical center did a trial runs as part of a well being program). I found that the step counter wasn't 100% spot on (but mirrored the fact that when I moved more it did give me higher step counts and vice versa - it did give me readings of 18000 steps twice when I did 1 hour of fit walking so a high number was to be expected but I would not know if I actually did that number of steps). It was very useful for me to see my sleeping patterns (important as your gh values are highest when you sleep and that also helps you to lose weight). I don't know how it compares to Fitbit, but they are useful devices.
NB. you have to wear them 24 hours a day!!

Bowel Movements
fiber (30g - 35g per day) and lots of water with it (at least 2 liters) Dried prunes and cooked apples as well. Exercise is good to get your bowels moves as well. Massage your add omen anti clockwise works as well.
