Sandy701's Journal, 03 May 2012

Rainy/stormy day. No exercise walking today. Got up rather late, so no surprise that my weight has held on the low number.

I got TOO hungry late yesterday afternoon and battled hunger the rest of the night. I had waited too long to eat something between 11 and 5.
I ended up eating 1 more slice of bacon which helped a bit and then had a small serving of pumpkin seeds. Went over on my calories target, but still had difficulty getting to sleep and staying asleep due to a nagging low-level hunger.
152.0 lb Lost so far: 83.0 lb.    Still to go: 7.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sandy, I know the feeling. Now I eat 2 slices of Zero Carb Bread, have gotten to like it with Smart Balance and SF Polaner preserves. I fills me up when I feel I need to add a little after dinner. At first I did not like the taste, but now I am pleased to be able to fill in with it. Have a good day!

The SF Polaner preserves are great! I read about that special on breads you journaled awhile back, but didn't get around to placing an order. I guess this bread keeps you from eating a book after dinner, right? LOL! Enjoy your day!

ZERO carb bread....really? OK, so how come nobody says where/how to get?

http://www.julianbakery.com/ Use with caution though. There has been a lot of controversy both here and on the Atkins site about the ingredients and how accurate the carb count really is. Some seem to like it with no effects, but I have heard some stall on it. Also, keep in mind that grains are the last rung in the carb ladder. I would love to try it, but have decided to wait until I reach goal.

I'm sorry you caught the hungries too. I'm sipping on some herb tea - didn't really want it but it does help he stomach think it is getting something to eat!

Buffy....still haven't tried the herb tea. Well, actually, does the Bret Michaels' variety of green-and-whatever tea for Diet Snapple count? LOL! Actually, it turns out I didn't like that much, so will not buy it again. Also 10 calories but 0 fat, 0 carbs, and 0 protein????? I think not....

Sandy - I hate green tea - don't care how good it is supposed to be for me - I won't drink it. And bottled tea always tastes stale to me. I like mint, ginger, peach and berry flavors. Unsweetened, of course.
