spdswyf's Journal, 20 January 2008

I went out yesterday and bought a scale, first one in the house in years and I know the dumb thing must be broken! There is NO way I lost that much weight in such a short amount of time! Going from 183 to 172.3 in a matter of a few days is unheard of! I will be honest and say it sure felt good looking at that number but come on 10.7 thats a lot! I may have to call up doc and think of a reason to visit the office just to see if my scale is right! :)
Alright my weight History is all screwed up! I started the 16th and it's telling me I started the 21st! Don't know how I managed to screw that up but if anyone can tell me I would really love it! I mean it says I gained weight not lost all in one day!:)
172.3 lb Lost so far: 10.7 lb.    Still to go: 32.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think if you sent to the Dr.'s office and told the nurse you just wanted to use the scale, it should be no big deal. You can try sending an emai to the site and ask them about it.

I am in the same situation, and I probably would not have believed my scale either if I had not been weighing myself everyday and seeing the number drop significantly. The good thing is while on phase one this is water weight so far, some fat yes but mainly watertweight. If you hit another big number next week maybe you should switch to phase two. Me I am staying at phase one for at least 3 weeks. COngrats on you loss!!

Thanks! I know if I lost any weight it was water and really that is ok. I'm sticking with it, not matter what my dumb scale says!
