Greeting my buddies and the day with my coffee. Sun is coming up but not fully sunshiney yet. That's ok. The coffee is warm and sweet and yummy.

Yesterday went pretty well over all. Food/drink was limited but on plan. Came home and tanked up on water to try and catch up a bit there. At work got some things done, had 2 of 3 interviews (#3 cancelled last minute), although one of the 2 at the beginning let us know she didn't really want to work in an office/cubicle...then why did you apply for this job?? So down to 1 who looks like she could do the job. Found out the windshield washer fluid hose thingy (technical term) snapped and needs to be replaced. Apparently it's a dealer item so waiting for the local shop to call and find out how much before giving me an estimate. Don't drive much or often these days but need it fixed eventually. Can't imagine it'll be much since it doesn't look like the pieces are buried or hard to access.

Back to a more "normal" schedule today, sitting at my desk/dining table. Have a lot of little pieces to do, trying to figure out which one should be first. Sometimes it feels like I could work 12 hours a day and never really get caught up. Just gotta do my best. Wish I could stop overthinking it lol. I take ownership of it and I know how what I do affects/reflects on others. Don't like it when I mess up but someone else has to also deal with the consequences so I try to make sure I do it right if at all possible. That has its own problems - trying so hard to not make mistakes. Being "safe" sometimes means not taking chances or changing things up.

It's Friday-Eve. Make it a good one :)

I know the feeling. Overthinking can lead to paralysis! I find it helps to start with ONE task, and stick with it until it's done, regardless of how it tangles with another that needs to get done. I'm that way with house cleaning...I start in the bathroom, need to put something away in the bedroom, but where it needs to go has something that needs to go someplace else, so I move that to where it needs to go..and somehow, never make it back to the bathroom! I feel like I've spent the whole day cleaning, but the house looks the same. :P

LOL I'm exactly the same. I feel like I'm doing a task and then something else pops up and I'm like "ooh shiny!" and I'm drawn away.

Hahaha! I call it ADCD...Attention Deficit Cleaning Disorder. :D I have a friend I call "Squirrel" like your avatar, because she's the same way..we'll be talking about something, and she'll switch to something totally unrelated. I always say, "Ooh, squirrel!", and we crack up.
