Im suffering the same problem. COMPLETE lack of hunger. I need to remind myself its time to eat. And I only eat 2 times a day with a 16 hour fast. Some schools of thought say "Eat when your hungry". If I did that I would die of starvation. Really it would probably be after 24 to 36 hours before real hunger came back. I know I do two 24 hour fasts a week and im not even hungry when those end. I actually do heavy weight training AFTER fasting and then come home to make breakfast. Which I am STILL not hungry for. Its kind of a struggle to EAT!

Thanks for info, yea I'm cramming it down. It doesn't help that I work 72hrs a week either, but that's the schedule they have us on. I can easily fast 12hrs and going for 16hrs, although other sources say don't. My body doesn't want to launch into ketosis either, I'm always at trace on keto stik. They say you are your own worst enemy, ain't no lie, lol.

I've been doing a lot of research of testing ketone levels. I am talking real research from the literature. You can test three ways: blood, breath, and urine. Blood and breath are very accurate and have strong correlation with each other. Urine is the last accurate. There are several reasons for this, but two standout. First, as a person becomes keto adaptive, the body becomes more efficient with using ketones as a source of energy resulting in less ketone bodies expelled in the urine -- and there is a lot of variability due to metabolic processes. Second, the strip are not meant for the way you are using them. They are made for diabetics who are looking for high levels of ketone that are nowhere near the level you are looking for. This is not my opinion. This information comes straight from the research.
