You TOTALLY get a reward!!!

Maybe it can be a small reward. Ratcheting down fun food slowly instead of with a hard stop eases the transitions between holiday and 'normalcy.' Also, it makes life fun... :)

Well, I ate all the rest of the chocolate crunch rice cakes yesterday, so food awards are out. 🤣🤣🤣

You’ll do fine. It takes a while to find your weight loss rhythm, and the holidays is a tough time to do so.

You did well. Now it is post holidays

I'm in the same boat. I can't seem to make this easy on myself quite yet. Coming from a point system to calories is a huge transition. Holidays are over, and now we can focus more on our goals, and keep in mind the big picture. One good thing done today, puts us closer to our goals. Best of luck on your journey

Judy, I came from that point system too. I think this is easier for me because I overate the zero point foods and abused the system. I think when I get off the holiday eating wagon, this will work better for me.

I think you did great through the holidays! I was up and down in November and December because I really tried harder this year. I think I gained 3 pounds during this time but it's gone now

Novariche, I'm new too. Today I looked all over the place for the barcode scanner, thinking to myself, "I know I've seen it before". Finally found it in the camera icon. The community here has been really welcoming and helpful.

Fritzy, I've been over calories by several hundred some days. I'm suspicious my scale is wrong. 🤣🤣🤣

It can be hard getting back into a routine. Just eat a little less and move a little more to start. You can do it.

Rowing the same boat and can see all of you! It will all fall back into place as we settle into the new year. Don't jump overboard! 🚣‍♀️

Do you log your calories everyday. It is the only way I can loose weight! I am very short only 4'11 so every pound matters on me. I started losing weight when I cut my calories. I have really bad knees and can't exercise! Just hang in there and don't get discuraged.
