I am doing (compared to my former performance, at least) remarkably poorly at being faithful to my diet and exercise journals. However, I have been trying to eat as though I were writing down 100%. Sometimes I don't want to take a break from what I am doing to write things down, do the caloric calculations, etc. But I know how important it is, so I need to fully commit to that again. That's what the "Journaling" challenge is all about. I may set it up again as it finishes this time, if that is what it takes to keep my momentum going. I can totally do this, but half-measures don't really do it for me.
I am a little concerned that I don't seem to be losing weight, even though I know I have cut back on my calories considerably, and am trying to be more active again. However, I'm trying not to let it make me too crazy. Some of it has to do with water weight and monthly timing, etc. It's over weeks and months that I need to see the trend, and as long as I go down overall, it doesn't matter if every weigh-in is perfectly accurate (even if it does make me a little crazy).
Thanks for "listening". Good luck to all of us this week!
