Well begun is half done. Hmm--it may be a little too optimistic to take that literally, but the idea is right. I took a planned break from calorie counting on Saturday (I knew before I restarted that I would do that, given my plans for that day, and I was also unusually active), and yesterday I was a little unwell, for unrelated causes, but I'm back on track today.

My results are better than expected, though again, I think my original weigh-in was abnormally high, and of course it is normal to lose more just at first. It makes me happy, though. It will take many, many weeks of work, but not as many as when I first joined FS, not sure if I could really do this.

You got this - it's good to think in weeks instead of days...then when you're nearer to your goal you might have to stretch that thinking into two weeks or a month as weight loss slows. Good luck on your journey! It's good you're adjusting for days you know your calorie intake will be higher.
