Holding steady at 144, which is ok. I've done well on the diet, but haven't been as good about exercising over the last few days. I've been off of my daily routine, which is a bit of a danger for me in terms of finding time to exercise.

At the end of this month I'll be moving to a new state and will be traveling for two weeks before we settle in our new home. Although I have a few ideas, I'd love some feedback or tips on how to stay on the diet and exercise well while on the road. Suggestions?

I say take a break and don't worry about it so much. Generally lean towards healthier options, but don't stress about splurging, especially on such an adventure! :) As far as the exercise goes, especially when traveling with kids you're going to want to stop every 2 hrs or so and give the kids 20-30 minutes to get out and play while you're driving. Use that time to be active yourself. I took a road trip a couple of years ago with my aunt and her three kids, and by stopping often we were all a little more sane when we got where we were going than we normally are.

You're doing great- look at your chart! You're a huge encouragement to me, because we are close to the same weight and have about the same goals. It's difficult when you're travelling so much to get excercise in- maybe there are some fun places along the way to stop, get some excercise, or ride a bike?

Don't stress about it. Try to fit in walks or runs whenever you can, but you'll get back on track when you settle. Plus, you'll be working up a sweat moving into your new home!
