10.1%

As expected. I had higher fat intake than usual the past couple days so I believe I am paying for it.


I need a change.....soon.

Shoulder Day (was not having the best of workouts):

- Seated Military Press:
Warmup 2 sets, 45lbs x 12reps
65lbs x 10 reps
95lbs x 8 reps
95lbs x 6 reps
105lbs x 4 reps
85lbs x 8 reps, 65 lbs x 12 reps (2 drop sets)

- Cable Bent Over Rear Delt Fly + Plate Upright Row:
20lbs x 12 reps + 25lbs x 15 reps (4 sets)

- Handstand Push Ups + Cable High Face Pulls:
Body Wt. x 3 reps + 60lbs x 20 reps
Body Wt. x 6 reps + 60lbs x 15 reps
Body Wt. x 8 reps + 80lbs x 12 reps
Body Wt. x 10 reps + 80lbs x 12 reps
Body Wt. x 8 reps + 80lbs x 12 reps

- Hack Squat Shoulder Press:
90lbs x 8 reps
90lbs x 6 reps
90lbs x 6 reps
70lbs x 10 reps + 50lbs x 12 reps (3 dropsets)

Got in late at the gym, 5:30am instead of 5:15am so my workout was cut short. No HIIT afterwards, no extra exercises, no satisfaction. =P

That's really not that bad...you're beating yourself up over a number most women can only dream about!

Wow, I wish I cud lift so much! :-o I need to add strength training somehow, my arms look like I'm anorexic or smth, my toothpick arms... I wanna find some kind of girly strength training plan, machines and lifting weights but no luck so far.. All I get rite now is cardio, which is not that great, u need strength exercises to burn more cal and tone up.. Do u know any decent websites with programs like that?

@Tubbs - Haha, but I'm a dude! =P. I know I know i shouldn't but here's the deal.....if we stay content with how we are, how are we ever going to keep progressing? Correct? So I guess this is my way of keeping myself on my toes so I do not let up. @Kate - Check out gymtechnik.com, there are some routines on there and there may even be some tailored to women. I think there is a sister website directly for women as a link.

But still! I know guys who would KILL to have your body fat %! If it makes you feel any better, my guy's at 28% haha! You make a good point though, best to keep an eye on things rather than think you're fine and let yourself go. Not that I can see that happening to you in a short period of time, but you know what I mean

Don't get me wrong, I get what you're saying and I am definitely grateful for where I was and what I've reached. I'm just my hardest critic, as is everybody else with themselves. I just feel like I am stalling again and need to change things up. Whether its the workouts or the diet or both - the goal is beach ready for any occasion, haha!

Well, that might not be your best workout but it is still impressive. About body fat percentage, what is your goal? I know 10% for men is not the leanest, where do you want to be? I hope your next workout will be more satisfying, you sound a bit frustrated lol!

10% is somewhat lean but it's funny because I know that if i actually skin tested myself it'd show less. Regardless, I'd like the reader to be 8% consistently. =)

Hey you are already having a beach body, one of the best even at Malibu! Be proud of yourself! I don't know all of the above names but it sure shows you earned every number you have. Keep up the great work and don't forget to smell the roses, too! Happy evening to you:)
