I'm back on track after what one of you called a blip...and I think that is a good way to look at it. I went to the gym last night, walked a steep incline for two miles.I'm going to do something for at least 30 minutes everyday. And by something, I mean deliberate exercise, like treadmill, weights, hiking, etc. Maybe that is what I need to break through this funk.

One thing I was reminded of is how food affects my mood. Wow. After eating carbs sunday night, I was in such a depressed mood yesterday. It wasn't that I was beating myself up, I just felt down and depressed all day. Part of it is that my job is pretty stressful right now, dealing with Arizona school funding law issues is no fun. Exercise and low-carb is vital to keeping me going and in a positive mood.
197.4 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 33.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I agree, carbs, especially carbs like rice, pasta, and bread are depressants, they are for me anyway, comfort food my foot. Hang in there, you've been very successful in that job, you'll get past this and the school funding law issues.

glad you found the treadmill! I took a hike today, left my coat in the car thinking I would be warm... uhhh, nope, had to speed up my walk to keep warm. LOL. . Keep up the good work, all we can do is try!!

Oh ya, take out that sewing machine! I ended up setting up my dining room as my sewing room. LOL
