Soooooo, I got a raise and I decided we needed to celebrate. With FOOD!!!! We went to the Cheesecake Factory and of course I had to have cheesecake. I know that celebrating with food is wrong but it's the way I've done it my whole life. A habit I need to break. It's a new week and a new start (for the 1,000,000th time)

159.6 lb Lost so far: 7.4 lb.    Still to go: 9.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Try rewarding yourself with a new outfit, shoes, or jewelry? Just because you've always done it, doesn't mean it should continue. If you're going to reach your goal, you need to develop new rewards.🌷

I don't know what kind of diet you are on whether it is harmful or not. if you make up the calories it should balance. Eat less the day you plan to have a treat. Overindulging is a different thing altogether.

Celebrating with food doesn't have to mean stuffing yourself or hurting your diet - it can mean eating somebody else's tasty food in moderation with a small bit of some great dessert. And Cheesecake Factory is a good place to go - they have all the calorie counts right on the menu.

Just don’t read the nutritional values listed on the menus like a comic book. Split something with at least one other person. portion control. Good luck. Develope a plan.
