Be patient and kind to yourself. Muscle weighs more than fat so sometimes using how your clothes fit is a better judge then the scale. Don't call yourself that, rather Pat yourself on the back for everything you are doing well and be kind and patient if you don't meet goals one day here and there!

Make sure you're drinking lots of water! That's usually what does it for me if I don't lose when I've kept my calories at target

that is a very minor weight gain and I bet it is just water. I can understand your frustration you are doing great with your diet plan. you will prevail

Trying weighing yourself one time a week in the morning. Weighing everyday will just lead to frustration

If you hadn't been doing a similar amount of exercise before, it's likely that you're just developing muscle. It'll add to your weight until your muscles are optimized for your exercise.

It does lead to frustration the body must act differently every day

Thanks for the feedback. I won't quit walking and I'll drink more water. My one Coke a day is something I really look forward to. I've had periods of time that the only liquid I had was Coke. Coke addict? Yep. My last vice.

Try mineral or seltzer with lime juice and some liquid stevia extract if you need it more sweet. That can of coke is nothing but chemicals and an enormous amount of carbs. I haven't had a soda since 2000 and don't miss it at all.

Maybe your calorie entries are incorrect. Maybe you are exceeding your calorie limit and aren't aware of it. Double check entries using an alternate site. Keep the accurate entries and toss the bad ones. Ex. June 8th, popcorn entry 100 calories...but the macro entries of 20 grams of fat, 85 grams of carbs, and 10 grams of protein would indicate calorie count using the macros provided something isn't very accurate. Is this why calorie counting doesn't work for people? I mean, 20 grams of fat is 180 calories. Toss in the carbs and protein and you have an additional 380 calories. Is it new math? Does 100 = 560?!? Also, if you walk regularly it will improve most health markers including insulin response.

and the fatsecret sit is a bit overgenerous with exercise activity. I went to check aerobics on another site I use and the number for fatsecret is double what that site uses. their numbers are off for my bike riding, but fortunately my stationary logs the calories used so I can be accurate. I need true numbers to properly plan my day to activitely lose weight. being active during the day was not enough to drop weight for me. I had to actively add exercise.
