Mini rant. Why are some people such babies? When I see posts I don't agree with I either pass on to the next post or may comment that doesn't work for me but glad it does for you. I don't go telling them they are off topic or go reporting them. All things important in our life have an effect on our weight journey. I love reading about your remodels, and kids, and rejoicing in your wins. I also love to share with your disappointments and struggles. Maybe I have been through them or maybe I can just listen and pray. I hope somehow to encourage. For my husband and I, our faith is a huge part of our journey, and encourages us and others. If someone has a problem with that, be an adult and skip the post or say that doesn't work for me but glad it does for you! My faith does not offend you personally any more than your lack of faith offends me! What does offend me is when you try to force your lack of faith and hatred of God on me. And if you don't believe in God, why do you hate Him so much that even His words cause you to lash out?

Anyway, I sat a whole month not losing and in the last couple of weeks I'm down 7 pounds. Yeah! So great is my joy! This verse fits perfectly I think!

Nehemiah 8:10
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Wow I'll be honest religion is not a big part of my life, but I would never deny someone else's right to have a faith and use whatever strength and support they draw from that to improve their life in anyway. We all know how difficult the weight loss journey can be and I'm appalled that anyone would question you sharing how your faith has helped you through it..... my mini rant:)

I am of the mind that, with members from around the world who come to the site with many creeds, FS should be maintained as a non-ideology site. Are you aware that there are several FS groups which are Christian-based?

I think the point is that it is her journal, for her to keep her own thoughts in, so if you don't share her thoughts then don't read her journal. There are plenty of journals I have seen out there that I don't agree with so instead of attacking that person I just do not read nor do I write in their journal.

I understand the point Dorindam59 makes as well as the opinions of the other respondents as well. I need no further explanation.

I am aware you are referring to those two people who commented on your dear husband's post the other day. I hope you both can move forward and ignore them.I assume the "FS Police" did not think his post was a problem...a journal should be like a diary - this is not Facebook!

Enough already, folks...

If my eyes don't betray me, nobody posted since yesterday....?

Non-Christians and others who do not believe sure do have a lot of opinion about what standing Christians are doing wrong! Dorindam59, keep up the good work!

Moon's Mom, sometimes it's a good idea to read all comments. Because someone might offer you some ketchup to go with those toes in your mouth. Sorry. I despise trolls. Isn't it amazing that nobody had posted anything for a day except for two posts that are just a tad too obvious in the looking to cause trouble area?

Dayberndt, since when is showing support for a friend trolling? I think you should review the personal attack you sent my way!

Moons Mom, rule no. 1 of recognizing a troll is that they are trying to stir trouble. Some of them aren't even good at trolling because they manage to be way too obvious. Take this from a website developer/manager with over 12 years of experience. You really need to go back to troll school. Successful trolling requires a lot of finesse - that you obviously don't have.

This string of comments is so off base re: subject of weight loss and way too toxic for me. I'm leaving this group...
05 Sep 15 by member: carol in kinderhook
I agree. I'm leaving too. No place is safe. Trolls accuse me of trolling just because I got lost and thought I was talking to someone nice.
