105○ real temperature in the shade and rising! And, there's no breeze. My SCA group is having an event today, outside, and I just couldn't face the heat. There will be shade flies and misting tents, but with no breeze, I'm not sure that would be all that much help. I'm home, all by my lonesome. It SUCKS, getting old. The only problem is, the alternative sucks worse. We're supposed to have a break, starting tonight. The temps for the next 5 days are supposed to be in the low to mid 90s. I never thought the 90s would sound so good! I got my tomatoes and plants watered early before the temps started to rise out of the 80s . . . still hot but bearable. I'm spending another day on the house. I have Harry Potter in the 5 disk, DVD player, my food is under control. All-in-all, I'm in a good place. Everyone have a great day and stay safe in the heat/storms/etc. XOXOX

Yeah, I've seen the movies so many times, they are what I put on when I have work to do and need something I don't have to pay attention to . . . those or "Lord of the Rings". I'm off to play house. LOL!

The heat can get dangerous, heat stroke is no fun. Stay cool and I hope that heat wave breaks soon.

Ahh summer sun...send me a photo...we have had weeks of rain and floods, though, so far we've escaped the flooding thankfully! Heat is never good, especially when the boiler has extra lagging round it...lol. Do skinny people suffer as much? I think not, so came on gal, loose the lagging :o) Hugest hugs XX
