I feel so guilty for not going to the gym today, but I am so freakin' sore everywhere! I stretched out a little when I came home from work, then it was off to the store grocery shopping. Had to double shop for me and my mom. She is getting sick, so I thought I would help her out. Cleaned the whole house, and did some laundry. I should have gone for my massage but I didn't have time. Tried to eat light today. I feel like I'm cheating on myself...I guess I'll just hit it hard tomorrow. I hope everyone had a good day!

You do need rest days, don't beat yourself up, sounds like you had a busy day today.

Every day at the gym working those same muscle groups isn't the best idea your body needs 48-72hrs to heal trust me on this.

Gotta rest and let your body heal in between workouts.

doing housework can burn as many calories as a work out (depending on what you are doing). 30 mins of activity per day doesn't necessarily mean at the gym.

rest, relax, refresh, and dehydrated. after all rest helps prevent injury

Rest is at least equally important, so please feel good about allowing the body to mend properly, before you stress it again.

Exercise is great for conditioning and overall health and feeling good. Weight loss comes from primarily what you eat and don't eat. Stay the course with diet and pick up at the gym today. No need to overdo at the gym today, just your regular workout will be fine!

I used to feel the same way, but then once I realized how much more productive I could be at the gym after taking a rest day (even two) it helped relieve some of that!
