Haha I asked about surgery to help me lose weight and they said I wasn't big enough. Has for my hip they said I wasn't there yet.

That is about 5 or 6 weeks, didn't look at the calendar. That is a big order and doesn't sound healthy.

I wish the same thing would happen for me, but I realized early on that it took a long time for me to get to where my weight is. It's probably going to take much longer to get it off. The key is HEALTH! Do the things that are good for your health and the weight will follow. I always failed when I looked only at the weight rather than a new life style :)

You can do it - little steps when you can

Remember too...even if it WERE possible to reach that type of goal in such a short period of time, it's almost pointless to do so because weight that is rapidly lost using extreme measures will almost surely come back with a vengeance - PLUS 20-30 pounds more. I know because a few years ago, I wanted to lose 35 or so pounds in 3-4 months, did extreme calorie deficits, extreme workouts 1-2 hours a day for 5-6 days out of the week. I started this goal at 164 pounds (that was the heaviest I had ever been in all my days), I got down to 135 pounds, then thought I could slack off my routine. Within 1.5 years, I weighed in at 195 pounds. Been down (mentally/emotionally) ever since (until I went Keto 3 weeks ago). I dropped 15 pounds in 3 weeks. No calorie counting, a 30-min walk here and there, and I honestly haven't felt this good in years and years. Just saying...

Forgot to say...if there's one thing that I've learned (the hard way), is that nothing beats the old saying..."slow and steady wins the race"

Have you tried keto?

If you really want to lose it, stay focused and you will lose the weight. Remember, it is a lifestyle change not a diet.

That much loss that fast would seriously damage your metabolism. And the weight would most likely come right back on with extra. :/

Ugh bursitis can be a bummer. I have multiple joint bursitis. Had an injection to the right hip in October and it was life changing. Still can’t do anything high impact. For now I’ve found barre exercises to be a good workout that is low impact. That and my kettle bell minus the deep squats

Just try and lose what your body will let you! Everyone has a different metabolism. If you don't lose as much as you think you want to...there is always SPANX! Also, the right bra and clothing can really camouplage the extra few pounds. Go for it!

KETO! it's the best, and you don't HAVE to exercise - it helps get you muscles in shape and helps how you feel, but to lose weight - not mandatory on KETO.

Thanks everyone!! Yeah I know its a big order. I've done it once before. Gained all back did it again again it back. Its hard I know. What is the keto diet? I have high cholesterol would that be a problem doing that diet? I've seen some yummy recipes that I want to try but I'm not exactly sure what the diet is. Oh yes I had a cortisone shot in my hip that helped a tad bit but not so much then I had a cortisone shot in my Bursa to help my bursitis so have some pain so I'm trying to do some stretching exercises. Do you think walking would help some?

Okay now I really wanna know what is Keri☺☺☺☺

KETO is high fat, low carb diet. Watch Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off for a basic understandable explanation of the KETO diet. https://youtu.be/h6aMN6NLOTQ, then Dr. Ken D Berry addresses things from a physician's perspective.

I agree, that is too much. You are beautiful at any size. Focus on 2lbs a week or less. Sending love and support!

Thanks 💝 yeah I was thinking about it.. Has I'm sitting here watching Snapped. I can shoot for 2 lbs a week and see what happens. Good thing I like water. Bad thing is I have a sweet tooth.
