My fat percentage has gone down yet I'm still the same weight. Either I'm not weighing myself at the right time or I've put on muscle. Either way, I'm OK with not going down in weight for this week because of that. I would like to focus on dropping some calories this week though so I can drop some actual weight.

Losing fat is a great thing because you can be at a lower weight and still carry too much fat. Many people stay the same weight and lose fat. It means you are going down in sizes. I had a friend who went down 4 sizes and stayed the same weight for months. The scale will eventually move. The scale is only one way to measure weight loss success, losing fat is another.

If your at a lower weight, but still have to much fat then what is making the scale go down? Also how can you tell if your losing fat? My scale does water and fat %, but they are always the same. It doesn't matter how much weight I lose it still stays the same percentage. Do you messure how much fat you've lost by inches?

Yes, measuring is a good way to tell if you have lost fat. We have fat cells that shrink and you never know where you will lose it from. If you lose it too fast, you may also lose water and muscle. You don't want to lose muscle because the more muscle you have, the more calories are burned. I know people who have went down a size in their feet, lol. Losing weight isn't an exact science. You need to eat a healthy diet with lot's of lean protein, fruits and veggies and get in the exercise to help build muscle. It can take a lot of time and hard work to get where we want to go. When you only have a small amount to lose, it can be harder. Good luck!
