I am within nine pounds of my goal! Yay me! The problem is, I want a couple drinks. Drinking makes me retain water! I have to work HARD for 3 days to undo what 2 or 3 drinks does to me. It is going to be a long weekend with tequila in the freezer calling to me!

That is so exciting congratulations! I am the same way, when the weekend comes around I want to drink... but I'm skipping the wine this weekend for the first time since I started the diet. Going to see what happens Monday and if there is a change in weight. Congrats again on your loss and being so close to your goal! Yay!

The carbs is not the problem with drinking. When you drink, your body metabolizes the alcohol first, the any carbs, then finally fat. Thereby, kicking you out of ketosis.
Thank you, MFD1979! I rarely drink. It has just been one of those weeks where I could crawl into a bottle and stay there all weekend. lol

Stay the course! Resist at all costs! LOL! The last pounds are so difficult anyway....why make them even MORE difficult with a known problematic issue? Good luck! Stay strong!
