How do i have it show my total weight loss when i switch diets? It restarted my loss?

Ugh! Should enter my food BEFORE i eat it. Shouldnt have eaten the bacon my husband wanted or the celery and cream cheese my coworkers served as a snack. Or eaten just half of each Way over my RDI yesterday. Need to get back to 1500-1600.

Off work the next 4 days and going out to dinner tonight to a small cafe with live music. Hoping to find something decent on the menu. Praying for salad. All i remember them having is killer grilled cheese sandwiches, very good homemade hummus, other sandwiches, pizza, fried stuff, beers. Going to try to try to find out what else they have. Maybe i'll just eat at home before going.

The only thing I can suggest is go to where you "changed your diet" - ie weight history, my diet, enter historical weight. This will allow you to input your previous weigh ins. It would be a bit laborious though. I did it when I first joined as previously I was recording on a different website - andi wanted to transfer all my weight loss on FS. Maybe someone else knows an easier way - I am sure there must be. I would post the question on a forum - oops before you do.... Do a search to see if there have been any other threads on this.

Thanks. I was going to look through all my buddies and see if someone changed theirs and succeeded in keeping their beginning weight somehow. I am not sure how to search through the forums for this?

I have just had a quick look and there isn't much info - anyone that has posted something - gets the answer I gave "enter historical weight history". To look through the forums - community, forums you will then see a 'search box' on the right - just type something in (not too long, something brief I,e, weight history) and press return :-)

Thank you :))) i guess more important is doing what i need to do - consistently to lose some weight. I suck! But it took me years to finally quit smoking. The important thing is not to give up the battle.

Quite right Owsley..... Lots of people have or are in the middle of doing it - no reason you shouldn't be successful. I know how you must feel, if you have lost some weight already - you want it to show on your weight history. Why don't you put your beginning weight and just a couple of milestone weigh ins, using the historical weight - at least that will give you some inspiration :-).

Hope you get it figured out! You can always email using the 'contact' button on the very bottom of the page to the site Administrators, and ask them if there is a way... In the meantime... thank you for your support yesterday, and let me return the favor! YOU do not suck! And this...is not easy! If it were, we would all be victoria secret's models making life look like a breeze!!!! Stay focused on your goals. Focus on your grocery list, meal planning, choosing in advance, recording, and staying true to your commitment to yourself!!!!!!! This all helps! Trust me!!!

I know how you feel, I just hit my first plateau, no weight loss for a month. Partially because I have been slipping at a time when I should be more diligent and partially because it does get harder to lose wieght when you have less to lose. Stay strong.

Looks like you got your weight chart working fine - I never switched diets because I didn't want to have to deal with the change. Have fun tonight!

They said "Hi Owsley, Many thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience. We do need to enable this capability, so you can see your full history... We appreciate your patience and wish you well. The FatSecret team"

Yeah that really sucks. That's the main reason I won't change my diet plan.
