Broke fast with this snack I threw together. Smoked deli turkey slices, spicy cream cheese spread, a little chopped cabbage/romaine (for crunch), topped with a sprinkle of farm style mozzarella and Melinda's mango hot sauce... folded them like a taco and devoured them, I was hungry... also five slices of uncured salami (not shown)

Looking back on your posts I love all your inventive meals. I'm so new that I'm still eating very basic keto. Thanks for all the good meal ideas.

@jackieSpahr thanks. I LOVE to cook, so I do try to turn basic things... not basic. 😉 After a while it gets easier to get creative, soon you can look in your fridge and just know what combined will keep you at your carb goal by the end of the day. Things like zero cal/carb hot sauces help me a lot!

@jitterbug this was actually just Philadelphia brand "spicy jalapeño cream cheese". But in the past I have mixed sriracha and black pepper with a little garlic powder to make a veggie dip.

@maxie4 awe thanks. I try to make pretty foods, but it sometimes isn't so easy using so much fatty ingredients, ends up looking like slop.

Well sweetie imo you do a fantastic job...I havent seen anything you have presented that looks like slop lol:)

Hi I just started keto 5 days now, we have about same weight loss goals, Congratulations on losing 17lbs in 5 weeks!! Can I ask you if you are counting calories also? Is so about how many? I've been doing between 1300 to 1500. Thanks. 👍👍

I agree with Maxie, you ARE doing a fantastic job! ANd it is very important, from what I understand, to arrange our food in an appetizing manner. It actually aids digestion and such!

IsaBrigitte, I'm doing keto, too, but def not doing calorie restriction. For my height/weight/etc I need to get at least 1520 calories in per day. 1300 would be too low for most.

@isaBrigitte thank you, I feel like the weight falls off fast and then slows done after a few weeks. I haven’t even found time to exercise yet... so hoping I can gain energy and manage my time better, and that will help me gain muscle and lose more fat! No, I don’t typically count calories. I do between 1165-1300 though just based off my food journal. And occasionally I am REALLY low, by accident. I just try to keep tabs of my fat/protein/carb numbers.

@maxie, why thank you ☺️ @annmarnae thanks. I didn’t know that about the appetizing food trick.
