Hi there! Long time no see! Hope this finds you all doing well.
I have been doing well, all diet things considered. I am having the darnedest time getting over this hump since Christmas! I'm not gaining any weight, just not loosing. ~Sigh~ All's a girl can do is keep trudging on right?

I am excited to announce however that my son got accepted to The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, so I get to be an official Tar Heel fan instead of secretly cheering them on! Yeah, I am a proud mom at this point, walking on clouds and all that. It has been a dream of his for a long time and it was fantastic to see that he made it! So now, since light blue does not flatter my figure all that well, I must loose, loose, loose!!! :) GO TARHEELS!!!

I have started reading a book...perhaps you guys have heard of it or are reading it yourselves. YOU Staying Young...Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen...Oprah...ring a bell. Anywhoooo, loving it! It has some great information and strategies for staying young, which to me is a great thing since I am staring 40, opps I mean 29 straight down the barrel. It is fun to read also, not boring like a lot of medical books. I know that I am not using regular salt anymore, and also watching how much sodium is in things and even though I am strict on my carb intake, I watch the fats that I put in my body. More lean meats and low carb vegies. And even though I love love love dressings and cheese, I am cutting them down to just smidgens a day. :( That is a tough one! And spinach is a life saver, thank the Almighty Above. I eat two to three bowls of that a day! I could live off of it! That and green tea! I have threatened our kids to live to a hundred! The book has burn marks on it and the page have tears in them, not sure why! LOL

Well, gotta go clean house, so good day to you all, and happy fat burning! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Staying steady through the holidays rather than gaining is a wonderful thing!! Keep up the good work and hopefully the pounds will soon start to leave you.
