Well I took/posted a picture and a blurb about my morning thoughts... but it didn’t show up anywhere?!

So here it goes... my kids and I are sick, my heater shut down last night, woke up to a 48f house which aren’t helping with the sniffles or body aches. My dog went potty in my house 😩

I didn’t feel like eggs, they upset my stomach most days... TMI but I call them my colon cleansers. I was too cold and tired to stand and cook bacon.... I didn’t want to serve my kids cold cereal since they have coughs and sniffles. So I made them organic steel cut oats... I served them with honey and cinnamon and butter. There was 1/2 a cup left... I ate it 🙈😫

Tomorrow is a new day... 16.5 NC just for bfast

@8Patty before keto oats were healthy treat of a breakfast, I was hoping they had more fiber than they do to offset the carbs... but you are right, could have been way worse, I did add a fat tbsp of organic butter to up my fats and hoping to keep the rest of my day Zero carbish. I didn’t add maple, honey or brown sugar like I would have liked. Just cinnamon and butter.

Thanks @371. Life is messy!!! That’s the truth. I am crossing my fingers that the oats will just keep me really full until I can have an early dinner around 4pm and start fresh tomorrow with a good 20/4 IF!

sounds like you are allergic to eggs, or egg whites. I am allergic to a lot of things including egg whites. Stay calm and carry on, remember little eyes are watching and modeling.... no pressure. ;) Tomorrow will be a better day!

I agree it could have been worse you did good considering what you were going through a great friend on here just told me how stress can affect a person's weight loss.. keep your chin up you always do great and are a great mother. I hope everyone feels better soon!

@little red fox i agree probably an allergy. But it doesn’t happen all the time or in baked goods... I try to eat them less but with keto WOE eggs are such a go to. I need to get an allergy test done again to see if things have changed.

@cherik1 thanks for always supporting me. I know it could have been worse and I actually have felt pretty good today, full all day until 6:30pm. Planned to eat at four but Had to go to the laundry mat and wash all of our heavy winter blankets since our heater isn’t working still and we live in a raised house with poor insulation. Going to roast some pumpkin seeds before bed and make paleo muffins in the morning 😩 BF is working on the heater now, he’s an electrician and pool tech so hopefully he can fix it, but we had a rat issue in our wall... soooo things may need to be replaced. Plus side of renting, not our bill 😉
