So yes my body has decided this is where it is going to park for a little bit and that is okay. I have taken it on an up and down ride over the years...it needs to wait and watch and I will persevere. Honestly, in the end it isn't about the weight as much as it is about feeling better, having more energy, more mobility and movement and all of that leads to being healthier. I can honestly say I feel better and have these things. I sleep better, my hand doesn't wake me up hurting and numb from the wheat or gluten or whatever it is that I am eating when I am not cutting the carbs/sugars. I have more energy to get things done. I feel stronger and leaner and it is silly but I can tell a difference when putting on socks or something like that. So it's okay 'body' you can hang out here for awhile because I'm not going anywhere. I am not going to forsake you. I am not going to forget my promise to you. That being said today will not be a treadmill day like normal as I have a doctors appointment and then we are meeting friends for dinner. So I will either take 3-5 minute breaks all morning and get my activity in. That is okay too I suspect my body needs a slight break and this will be a welcome change and alternate things.

Super Jaime, you put into words what are my thoughts of 'my condition'. For years up/down/all around and now I'm at a little stand still but feel so good that I cannot give it up just because of what that 'box' (scale) on the floor says. I also have issues with pain in my right hand at night and 3 fingertips numb, but actually I feel better now, not so much pain and the numb is not as severe. I like the way you 'talk' to your body, like a dear friend :-)

Thanks! Although I did eat something Thursday night that made my body yell out at me that I must be a fool. Anyway, just another wake up call to be kinder to myself, and to hell with others. :)
