Ayngel's Journal, 28 July 2017

I'd forgotten how much I'd rather make my own breakfast rather than grab something from McDonalds or somewhere. Hard to believe this is only about 200 calories.

Great bowl. I read somewhere one time that we should eat out of those 10oz. Dixie bowls all the time for portion control. And you're right about making your own breakfast. It's much more appealing.

Beautiful! What is that on the right? Scrambled eggs with feta?

Tai Lin- yes, it is eggs (1 whole/1 egg white). I microwave them so I don't need any oils. These have a little chopped jalapeno in them and feta cheese on top. I try to vary the ingredients, sweet peppers, tomatoes, onions, avacado, a bit of cheddar, broccoli... so I don't get tired of it, but it's a favorite breakfast item of mine. And I pair it with a slice of Aunt Millie's whole grain wheat (only 35 calories) dry or sometimes with a little honey drizzled on top, and some type of fruit. Great breakfast and it's pretty easy to keep it around 300 calories.
