I usually have a cup of V8, one egg on heavy wheat toast (good seed bread, thin sliced, 70 calories) and 16g bacon. 265 calories. I love it. Sometimes I add some apple, carrots, or avocado. I've lost 19 pounds this month.

Carl Reiner did a show that I recently saw about people who live well into their 90s. One lady was still running races at 97 or so. One thing she said that I try to keep in mind is eat for nutrition, not for taste. If it works for you, keep at it.

I only eat 2 scrambled eggs. What kind of bread is that, or is it bread?

It's actually coconut flour. Not real bread but I pretend it is. LOL It's grounded coconut with egg and butter. And yes it's pepperoni. Not salami. I like the saltiness of it. And its a slice of cheddar cheese that got destroyed on my commute to work. hahaha

I think that we fall into thinking only certain foods can be eaten for breakfast or lunch or dinner. First, think outside the box; think nutrition and satiability. That leaves the door open for anything! Search the net for ideas about low carb cereals, smoothies, protein drinks, bars, granola...Are you a breakfast person? I am not, and prefer more traditional breakfast for lunch or dinner. If it is "not your thing, drop it. How about a hamburger patty and asparagus (left over from the night before)? Muffin quiches? Muffin meatloaf? Chicken salad on lettuce leaves? Fathead pizza? How about fathead pizza crust (cooked without toppings) with peanut or almond butter?

All kinds of things, Lox and cream cheese on Keto bagel, ricotta cheese with cinnamon and Stevia (gotta watch the carbs, some have 6 which are crazy - I get the type with 2 carbs). Bullet Coffee when I'm not feeling like I want to eat anything. I make Keto peanut butter cake or blueberry pancakes. LOTS of bacon (Canadian, Turkey and regular good old fashion bacon depending on my mood). I make cinnamon cloud breads, soooo many choices.
