very frustrated. I ate on point all weekend and I'm back up.... maybe muscles are growing?
231.4 lb Lost so far: 7.6 lb.    Still to go: 16.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 11.2 lb a week

Are you logging everything you eat? Are you drinking water? You could be retaining fluid. Good luck sticking to it!

A jump that big has to be mostly water weight. You'd have to eat like 11,000 Kcal to gain that in fat!

don't get too upset, I could be muscle as you think, I went through the same thing when I started I was putting on weight even though I halved calories and worked out for nearly an hour and a half per day. turns out some of us build muscle easier than others, so if you add weights to your routine that could be why.

@Mskestrela def not the case. 3500 calories over maint can equal 1 lb in fat. Get your info right before giving people extremely misleading information.

That's a big jump in a couple of days. Are you eating anything new or more of anything you normally eat? Are you sure your scale is working properly? Muscle gain and water=my guess.

As you already know, check the bodyfat caliper! That will tell you. Have you had your show already? How did it go?

I definitely need to up my water. Tracking was tough but I stayed in check. Only thing I had aside from my normal chicken and rich was a tiny cup of coffee ice cream at my bfs gramps birthday. The deadlift comp is about 21 days away and I'm begining to think I won't reach the 220 weight in 💔

You still have time. 6 kilos in 21 days is possible; just no more tiny cups of coffee ice cream. It will be close, but I believe you can make it. AMP the water intake up too. Good luck.

So I just got on the scale to see what the difference was between morning and night and it's barley over a pound. That being said I'm goung to stay hyper focused on upping my water and staying away from coffee ice cream. Nsv: I met my boyfriend for dinner after work. Unbeknownst to me he'd already eaten dinner so he ordered a brownie sundae well I got two chicken breasts Korn and potato which I didn't even eat all the potato. I'm in this to win it I'm staying focused and I really hope I make it thank you all for your help and support today it means a lot
