Squirrel-trap is set, let's see when and how it works. I hope it will be in there soon before the damage gets worse. So far it ripped out a good amount of insulation but not a big deal to put it back in.
Time to finally have breakfast.. should make it a brunch :-)

Hi Jozzette. I read your reply in Stef's journal and thought I would stop by and say "hello" and got the biggest kick out of your squirrel dilemma. It made me smile. Thanks for posting and good luck on removing the critter. ;)

Nothing in the trap but I kept the basement door open all day to give it a chance to escape. Hope I did not attract others with it *lol* Then I saw a funny thing. Of course, I kept an eye on the backyard hoping to see it moving out. Not a squirrel in sight all day long. When I went to get the mail one lonesome squirrel was just in the process of crossing the road. I hope it was the one from the basement. I guess we will see. If the trap stays empty and I can't see any changes in the basement, then it is gone. Let's hope that is the case.
