Whoa! I didn't expect to see a new lowest weigh in this week at all, so I am very relieved to announce one today. Over the last week I have lost 500 grams, which is not as much as I aim for, but it's enough. I'm on schedule, and things are moving. What truly baffles me is the fact that I dropped 2500g (that's more than 5 lbs!), since yesterday! I gotta say I am amazed!
I'm journaling from my phone, so this will be a short one. I'm busy enjoying Indulgence Day! Have a great weekend! Life is good!
188.3 lb Lost so far: 153.4 lb.    Still to go: 0.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Just an observation - if your BF% is 12% - that means you can only loose 22.5 pounds of fat, to have a 0% BF - which isn't healthy. If you loose more than that, you are loosing muscle. Some athletes have 6% BF which would be 11.2 pounds BF loss. Can't remember what your doc told you to get down to, to qualify for your loose skin op - he may have pitched it to low - you obviously must have a lot of lean muscle. Must be all that jamming you do on a Friday night LOL

@Skinny - I am aware of it, but thanks for reminding me. I have had the same thoughts myself. Of course, as someone else pointed out the other day, the body fat measurement is not all that correct on the scales we consumers can buy. I am supposed to reach 77 kgs - so I have 8 more to go. I hope it'll work out, we'll see. I gotta do this to qualify for the surgery, as you know. Muscle or not. Then I'll have to work on that afterwards. I really hate that it has to be like that. but I also really hate that loose gutsack I have sitting on my stomach. :/ We'll see what happens. Maybe I have to stop premature and get more measurements done. Trouble is they go strictly by BMI, which everyone here knows is retarded.

Congrats on the continued progress!!! Love that you say the BMI is "retarded" ... I've long felt like I will NEVER be able to measure up to what it says I should weigh!! I've been ignoring it for a while. Enjoy your Indulgence Day ... I must say ... your progress has me thinking about giving your approach a whirl.

I haven't worked out my BMI in a while, think I'll dust off the Wii fit and jump on. When I started, a few years ago it was more than my age in years!!! That was a wake up call, I can tell you. But BMI charts are retarded, they only take average muscle mass into account, so if you are buff and have buns of steel you're screwed! Brilliant news on the new low!
